MM ADJUSTER NUT
Useful if you need to make a special fitting. Also can
be used with SCV/3 to create a one off clamp. Start with
SCV/3 and remove the black saddle part, then weld the
silver coloured eyebolt block to some thick steel. This
nut can then be used as the locking nut for the eyebolt
when it is screwed into the block. Will fit SC/5A and
SC/6A. Also see SCV/14.

SHIM
(M12 X 0.5 mm) Stainless.
Many people have asked if our props and adjusters (the fork
end) can be used with English eyebolts. The Velorex eyebolts
are 11.9 mm wide and have a M12 hole in them. English eyebolts
are about 11.4 mm wide and have a hole in them just under
12 mm. At your own risk you can drill the English eyebolt
to 12 mm, add this shim and use an M12 bolt. We do not recommend
using old fittings, but we understand people do. |

BOLT
AND NYLOC NUT (M12 bolt)
12mm diameter bolt supplied with nyloc nut, easier to use
than the older type castle nut and split pin. However we
have heard of one MOT station who failed a bike as they
felt that all the nuts should have split pins. Every other
MOT station has passed these bolts with no problem.
Will fit SCV/3, SCV/4, SCV/5, SCV/6, SCV/7, SCV/8 also fits
the Velorex eyebolts. |
